10.3.1 PLOT HARDCOPY
The PLOT HARDCOPY command is used to obtain a quick printed output of the
current display by using the printer driver set up under the PREFERENCES
command. This allows you to obtain printed output for any plotter or printer
device supported by the Amiga.
A description of how to use the PREFERENCES program can be found in the
standard documentation supplied with the Amiga.
Unlike the PLOT RASTER command, PLOT HARDCOPY is limited to the resolution
of the actual screen display. Although the output device may be capable of
a much higher resolution over its plot area, the Amiga printer drivers
cannot resolve detail beyond what is displayed on the screen as the plot
information is taken directly from the current display and not from the
graphics information for the drawing.
MODIFIERS
SOURCE The SOURCE modifier is used to choose between the currently
displayed drawing window or screen for the plot. The modifier
is followed by one of two keywords:
SCREEN To plot everthing displayed on the screen.
DRAWING To plot just the drawing window.
The default option is to plot the drawing window.
